Every painting starts as an original watercolor on canvas. But I like to share my art, and a single canvas can only be shared once. When I complete something I love, the art is scanned and printed on archival-quality paper, allowing it to be shared many more times than the original ever could be.
This art print is a reproduction of an original painting on canvas using concentrated watercolors. The movement in the paint is meant to show a flower’s petals, but you can see whatever you’d like that makes you happy!
This was originally a 10×10” painting. It’s offered as the original square, or you can get the cropped 8×10 or 11×14” version!
The art has been scanned in a way that retains the canvas texture, so once it’s printed you still get a sense of the original backdrop. It is giclée printed on white 100% cotton, acid-free, pH-neutral paper with archival pigment inks. The paper has a smooth surface, is quite thick, and is ready for you to frame as you like!

Concentrated watercolors can be finicky - sometimes certain pigments on canvas fade over time when in direct sunlight; the reproduction helps make that risk go away! But for the original, it was a bonus: if it fades in the light, it is similar to a true sunset, fading away over time.
